CRPS Overview

CRPS Overview

December 31st, 2009 by Anthony

Here is a link to a Power Point presentation I found on the web. It was put together by a post grad physician, and I think it does a nice job of hitting many of the high points for the topics associated with CRPS. Credit for the content goes to Dr. Ghavanini. I think it's worth a read:

I think it is awesome. It is the best explanation yet. Very inclusive of the details yet simple enough for those who had never heard of it before, even a child. With all my medications sometimes it is hard to comprehend things but even I get it.

I'm going to print it to use as a tool to explain my condition to others. Next time I'm in the hospital I think I will switch or at least add this to the info I give to the doctors and nurses. Last time all of the nurses came back to me and thanked me for the info as they had no prior knowledge of CRPS.

I was surprised with the stats for men.  I thought it was most predominant in women over 40.  It is a good presentation.  I hope to use it in talks I plan to
give too.  Thank you Dr C! <3
