Houston, Texans with CRPS

I would like to see how many of us are in the Houston , Texas area. Maybe we could start a support group or a fundraiser?

Hello!  I am in the beginning stages of trying to get a "CRPS Awareness and Education Research Act" Bill passed through our TX State Legislation.  Anyone who would like to help participate by providing their CRPS story, letter from doctor, state representatives, etc. ... I would be most grateful for your participation!  Thank you.  ~ Rosemary

Hi, I live by Corpus Christi. I'm 3 1/2-4 hours to Houston so I couldn't be part of an in person support group. I'd love to meet other Texans online though! I have dr trouble as Corpus doesn't have good pain mgt doctors for RSD. Well there are two that I've never seen that aren't on my insurance plan. I was driving the 2 1/2 hours to San Antonio for the UT teaching hospital/pain mgt. I wasn't crazy about having to see a fellow then waiting for her to go back and forth to the dept head who would come in eventually with no bedside manner. lol I'd usually be there for 4-5 hours. I did really like the fellowship dr but they leave quickly. I recently tried another dr there that's website said she specialized in RSD. She didn't work out for me. I'm willing to go as far as Houston if I know it's a good doctor! I've had more than enough of telling my story to doctors only to have them not be too up on RSD. I love where I live but not for doctors! Thanks for any help! If you could send a message to my inbox that would be great!   Susan

Hey, good to find you. Texas never leaves the heart. People dont understand until they live here either.

Well how are you feeling up in the cold country? I can't take very much cold weather. Does it affect you?
