Hello Lisa & welcome to P4P...I love this site too!

I'm sorry you join us with CRPS/RSD however you have a great opportunity with early diagnosis to have successful treatment.   I urge you to read/learn as much as possible & do whatever you can to help yourself.

I have had since 1993 & only officially diagnosed almost 2yrs ago!!..there is little to help or improve my situation, however I am being pro-active & positive as possible!

I have no idea about Dr. Craig  or Dr. Provenzano At Tri River Associates but I would most definetly call Dr.B back asap and talk to him about your concerns. I'll do some of my own research on these Dr.s. Can't imagine him telling you not to be concerned with the crps  (It related  to your injury) I'm very confused and concerned about his theory.  Be cautious and demand to know why he is taking this approach with the steriod injections. If I remember correctly, did you not recieve a series of these prior to changing Drs.?

Hipporatic dictum states: "First , do no harm"

I'll call and tell you what I find out. Would you be willing to see Dr. Edward Heres in Pittsburgh. He's honest and very conservative with his treatment, but I believe out of all the doctors I've seen, he always puts patients safety first.     THANKS FOR BEING A FRIEND.IM SORRY YOU HAVE RSD/CRPS ITS A HANDFULL RIGHT.I HAVE TOTAL FULL-BODY RSD INCLUDING IN MY EYES,NASAL PASSAGE,MOUTH,HEAD AND ENTIRE BODY.ITS REALLY HARD BUT I REALLTY TRY TO STAY POSITIVE THROUGH ALL OF IT AS YOU ALREADY KNOW.

I HOPE YOU GET YOUR TREATMENT SOON.I HAVE WAITED 10 YEARS FOR THE RIGHT DOC THAT DEALS WITH THIS AND IS HUMAN AND HIS EGO GETTING IN THE WAY.SO GOOD LUCK AND THANKS FOR BEING A FRIEND.
